Preductive Joins MBIE Pilot Supporting the Next Chapter of NZ Business

Preductive is excited to announce it has been selected to participate in the Government’s AI Advisory Pilot, led by MBIE (the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment), supporting small businesses to adopt artificial intelligence.

The AI Advisory Pilot is designed to help small businesses overcome barriers to AI adoption and unlock productivity and growth opportunities. Delivered through New Zealand’s Regional Business Partner (RBP) Network, the pilot provides practical, trusted support for businesses looking to explore and implement AI in ways that support their people, operations, and customers.

Under the pilot, eligible businesses can receive co-funding of up to 50%, capped at $15,000, to develop an AI plan and receive specialist support to implement it. The programme also includes guidance on areas such as privacy, data management, and responsible use, helping businesses adopt AI with confidence.

“The future of New Zealand business is bright, and AI will play a meaningful role in that next chapter,” said Andrew Nicol, CEO of Preductive. “We’re excited to be part of the programme and to support businesses to apply these tools thoughtfully; delivering real, sustainable value to improve productivity.”

The pilot is expected to run to June 2026 and will include a minimum of 51 small and medium-sized businesses who have an existing relationship with RBPN. Insights gathered during the pilot will help inform future government initiatives supporting AI adoption across the economy.

Preductive looks forward to working alongside MBIE, the Regional Business Partner Network, and participating businesses to support practical AI adoption and contribute to shaping a strong, innovative future for New Zealand business.
